Hila discovered her passion for chemistry through a Chemistry Program at the Weizmann Institute. In 2017 she received her B.Sc. in Chemistry from The Open University of Israel. It was a meaningful journey she began in high school and learned a lot in the process about science, critical thinking and self-discipline. In 2022, she joined Prof. Patolsky’s group at Tel Aviv University for her M.Sc. degree in chemistry. Investigating micro biosensors with nano-scale features, with emphasis on nanomaterials, materials science, and biotechnology. In June 2025, Hila began her Ph.D. studies in TEEM’s group under the supervision of Prof. Dario Dekel.
