Yang Li received her BSc as joint training master student in Food Science and Engineering from Nanjing University of Finances and Economics (China) and University of Nebraska-Lincoln (USA). After that, she worked as a research follow in Applied Life Science from Gyeongsang National University (Korea) and in Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences for one year each. In July 2022, she started her Ph.D study in Chemical Engineering of Guangdong Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, focusing on “Capturing CO2 by a Fixed-Site-Carrier Polyvinylamine-based Facilitated Transport Membrane”. She has been exploring the anion exchange membranes for O2 generation in the Wolfson Department of Chemical Engineering at the Technion since October 2024.
