Liya Meles Kahsay earned her B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Mekelle Institute of Technology – Mekelle University. During her undergraduate studies, she participated in an international exchange program at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, focusing on urban sustainable development.
Currently, Liya is pursuing her master’s degree in energy at the Technion, under the supervision of Prof. Dario Dekel. Her research focuses on the study of Anion-Exchange Membranes.
